National Institute of Chemistry (NIC), Slovenia

The National Institute of Chemistry (NIC) is a leading Slovenian research institution specialising in the development of analytical tools, sensors, and innovative approaches across electrochemical (bio)sensing, bioimaging, atmospheric chemistry, and food chemistry.

Within the ViroiDoc project, the NIC team contributes its expertise in biosensor development and analytical chemistry, with a particular focus on the development of innovative approaches for viroid detection. Its interdisciplinary research combines fundamental studies with the development of advanced analytical technologies for sensitive and reliable detection.
