Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS), France
The Institut de biologie moléculaire des plantes (IBMP) at the French National Centre for Scientific Research - CNRS is a leading research institute in plant biology, with internationally recognised expertise in plant virology, virus cell-to-cell movement, and plant antiviral defence.
IBMP’s research focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying viral infection and plant defence, including RNA silencing and pattern-triggered immunity. Within the ViroiDoc project, the IBMP team contributes its expertise to the development of dsRNA-based formulations for antiviral plant protection and to understanding the mechanisms underlying disease development and plant tolerance to viral infection.
IBMP is associated with the University of Strasbourg and brings together 16 research teams supported by advanced facilities for plant cultivation, molecular biology, sequencing, bioinformatics, bioimaging and metabolomics.
