University of Regensburg (UREG), Germany
The Department of Cell Biology and Plant Biochemistry at the University of Regensburg (UREG) has expertise in plant RNA biology and RNA transport, with a particular focus on the use of regulatory non-coding and coding RNAs as sprayable RNA-based approaches to improve crop performance and protection.
The Plant RNA Transport research group investigates the mechanisms underlying RNA transport and function in plants, using modern molecular and cellular approaches across different biological scales, from individual molecules to cells, tissues, and whole organisms.
Within the ViroiDoc project, UREG contributes expertise in plant RNA biology, RNA transport, and sprayable RNA technologies, supporting the development and application of innovative RNA-based strategies for crop protection.
