ViroiDoc Open Call for PhD positions in Italy – Applications Now Closed

Applicants to be notified regarding the outcome of their submissions by the end of October 2025 at the latest.

ViroiDoc project partners would like to extend our sincere thanks to all doctoral candidates and early-career researchers who submitted applications for our recent ViroiDoc Open Call for 2 PhD positions in Italy in the fields of plant biology, genetics, cell biology, biology, bioinformatics, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related discipline. The call closed on 5 September 2025.

The response to the ViroiDoc Open Call has been great, and we are truly inspired by the diversity of applications in the submissions.

Next Steps

After the eligibility check in Stage 1, eligible candidates will proceed to be reviewed by the selection committee specific to the project. Applicants scoring more than 75% will be included in the initial ranking list and invited to an (online) interview (Stage 2). The ViroiDoc project team anticipates notifying applicants about the outcome of their submission by the end of October at the latest.
